They say that the more fans you have, the more popular you are. If a celebrity is not liked by fans, the creative team behind movies know that a movie or album won’t run much, as people aren’t interested in him, resulting in not giving that celebrity any high-profile role. The same rule applies to people outside of Hollywood as well, like sports persons. If a sports person doesn’t behave well in public or gets noticed for the wrong things, their respective bosses don’t take it very lightly. From this, we know that a celebrity should be nice, especially to their fans. However, sometimes a celebrity can have a bad day and we don’t deny that they are humans too. But knowing that the paparazzi and attention are all a part of their job, they should at least try not treating their fans terribly. Moreover, ill-treating them on a regular basis obviously means that their personality is not very nice. As much as there are celebrities who are known to be very kind to their admirers, here are 10 celebrities who treat their fans horribly.

Tobey Maguire

Tobey Maguire who is now forty years old is known as one of those celebrities who treat their fans badly. Celebrities across the world are role models and inspirations for their fans. When an admirer meets their favorite celebrity, all they want is either an autograph or a picture. Tobey is known to be rude to his fans by not stopping-by to give them autographs or even sharing a picture with them. He even refused to sign autographs for children who have probably idolized him for his performance in Spider-Man. According to the media, in 2007, Tobey slapped a camera out of an individual’s hand who was merely trying to take a picture of him. We have no idea why Tobey who looks rather calm, has so much anger in him. Autograph Collectors magazine has named Tobey as one of the worst signers. Now, we all know that is something to not be proud of!

Lea Michele

Lea is famous for her appearance and performance in the award-winning show called Glee. She was dating Cory Monteith who also acted in the same TV series. The two were quite popular as a couple until Cory died of drug overdose. Lea on the other hand is still known as one of the most ill-treating celebrities. After what happened with her boyfriend, it is little hard to understand why she would still be so cold. We wonder if sometimes celebrities forget, that the more fans they have, the longer their career could last. A few years ago, Hailee Steinfeld who was a young actor back then, approached Lea for an autograph who instantly denied it. The young actor bursted into tears. After doing some of the most popular movies like Bad Teacher, Charlie’s Angels and In Her Shoes, Cameron has one of the largest fan-followings, yet not so large in today’s time. We reckon the only reason for this had to be her attitude towards her fans. Her bad attitude is quite known amongst fans and the media. Cameron always refuses to take pictures or sign autographs. She was known to be romantically involved with Justin Timberlake and Alex Rodriguez. During the promotions for one of her recent movies, Sex Tape, Cameron and Justin Segel were seen together. A fan asked Cameron to take a picture with her to which she replied saying that if she took one with him, she would have to do it with the others too. Clearly, that was not one of the nicest moments in Cameron’s life. The fact that she stormed away after saying that, made the situation seem worse. Benji Madden who married Cameron in 2015, seems to have a liking for women with an attitude. The Charlie’s Angels star has clearly broken the hearts of many fans.

Britney, who was once known as the Princess of Pop music rose to fame rather quickly. At the beginning of her career, she seemed to be quite grounded and respected her fans wherever she went. She would stop to click photographs or even sign an autograph. If you remember, Britney had a very intense nervous breakdown in public, after which the paparazzi and the media started following her around, making the singer even more nervous. In the last few years, Britney’s relationship with her fans has dropped massively. She seemed more nervous of the camera and fans running after her. She doesn’t spend too much time talking to her fans. She doesn’t even stop for an autograph or a picture. She even admits that she doesn’t want any fan or admirer touching her. Wow Britney, we don’t know what went wrong there, but show some love to your long-term fans please!

DiCaprio is 41 years old now and is known for doing some of the most emotional and romantic roles like seen in The Titanic and Romeo & Juliet. When you witness an actor doing such intense roles, one automatically thinks of him to be soft-spoken and kind. Well, DiCaprio defies that! He is known to be extremely rude to his fans and refuses to sign autographs or even take pictures. Leonardo is one of the richest actors in the industry and he supposedly tells his fans that if they want an autograph, they need to pay him for it! Well, Leonardo is clearly a great actor considering the fact that he has done such subtle and kind roles in some of his movies. News of him hitting someone, and getting into fights every now and then were some of the few things that were spreading like fire. Chris got offended and threw a punch at that man’s face and got into a fight with his bodyguard too! All these incidents and specially the last one got Chris a misdemeanor assault charge along with rehab and jail time, for not being able to conduct himself in public. Angry young man, we say!

The young singer is quickly getting popular for her catchy music and entertaining videos. We have heard loads of rumors about her being a diva. She throws tantrums only when she is not performing or not in front of the camera. She apparently has only one good side to her physical features and doesn’t let anyone photograph her from the other side. She is even known to not really apologize in a good manner, when she offends someone. Rumors about her being impractical became clear during one of the Video Music Awards event. Ariana’s grandfather had passed away not too long before the event. After the event, one of her fans got her a frame which had a picture of her grandfather in it. Ariana must have went a little too emotional looking at it and brushed past the fan, running away to her van. She didn’t sign any more autographs and didn’t take any pictures with other fans. The self-proclaimed “genius” rapper has been in the news for all the wrong reasons, lately. Known to be too full of himself, Kanye isn’t very nice to his fans either. Far from being humble, Kanye got even more popular after his marriage to Kim Kardashian. Kanye West is known to be violent especially with the media. He was known to assault a cameraman who was merely trying to get a picture of him at the airport. Recently, Kanye was asked to take a picture by a couple of his fans at the Super Bowl. He apparently gave them a very weird look and simply walked away. According to the paparazzi, this isn’t the first time Kanye has ignored his fans, he is known to walk away from admirers who ask for his autograph or a picture. Kim and her sisters are the only ones who are “famous for being famous.” With no real skill or talent, the reality show stars are technically just famous for very mediocre reasons. She is not really a singer, though she did release a single some years ago. She is not really a great actress and hasn’t really appeared in anything other than a few guest-appearances in TV shows and movies. The sisters have started a clothing line together that goes by the name Dash which is based in California. They have also embarked other businesses due to their fame. Kim, whose popularity is solely based on the TRP ratings that her fans give her, isn’t very nice to her admirers. She is supposedly rude to her fans and doesn’t really bother signing autographs or clicking pictures. In one of the voicemails to her ex-husband, Kris Humphries, she talks about her fans and explains how irritated she is with them. She referred to some of her admirers as “imbeciles” and “nobodies.” We are wondering if these are the same “imbeciles” and “nobodies” who have raised Kim’s show’s TRP ratings or are they the same “nobodies” who watched her sex tape. Out of all celebrities, Kim is one of the few who needs to be more grateful to her fans as her diva-life will only last as long as her followers do.
