Kasper has revealed that the intensity of his gym workout depends on the day of his matches. He revealed that if he plays on Saturday, his workouts on Monday and Tuesday would be very intense and harder. He would assign Wednesday as a rest day. The workout sessions on Thursday and Friday are very light as the focus is mostly on technical and mental aspects of the game.
In the same interview, he also revealed that he rarely does the same exercise or same workout on consecutive days or even during the same day. The key is to keep the body guessing and remove any instance of the body reacting as per muscle memory.
The workout routines are mostly comprised of full body movements and explosive moves. Also, he tries various exercises that improve his balance and at the same time improves strength. He occasionally incorporates boxing in his fitness regime to work on core and reactions. On Thursday evenings, he practices yoga to improve his flexibility and to work on mental attributes.
