First TV Show

In 2005, Alin Sumarwata made her first TV show appearance in the adventure TV miniseries, The Incredible Journey of Mary Bryant. However, her work in the show wasn’t credited.

Her first credited TV show appearance came in the soap opera, Home and Away, in 2009.

Personal Trainer

Alin regularly works out to maintain her fitness levels. She increased the intensity of her workout in 2017 to make sure that she looked perfect on the TV show, Strike Back: Retribution. She got enrolled in Muay Thai workout classes. Alin was guided by River Daz, who is an accomplished MMA fighter in her fighting workout sessions, which were littered with sparring drills and pad work.

Alin also had to participate in the training drills with her fellow co-stars. They were made to do HIIT training and grueling cardio. Also, to prepare them for action and fight scenes, they were given Brazilian jiu-jitsu training. They started their training by 6 in the morning.

Alin also had to change her diet to compliment her workout regime. She ate a lot of protein to ensure that she kept up the muscle mass. Also, she had to cut back on eating donuts and crackers.

4. After she was cast in Neighbours, she had to move from Sydney to Melbourne as most of the scenes were to be shot there.
