- At the age of 4, Angelica suffered from severe bacterial pneumonia, that caused multiple organs failure including kidneys. Her right lung was permanently scarred due to the disease. She spent almost 80 days at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in 2013, which was followed by a kidney transplant by her mother.
- After recovery, she began singing lessons in Alpharetta, Georgia, under the guidance of vocal coach Tricia Grey.
- She was one of the contestants at the 12th season of America’s Got Talent and she secured the 2nd position.
