Billy Kidman is an American retired professional wrestler. After gaining fame in the world wrestling industry, he signed with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) where he started working as a producer in 2010. Back in his time as a professional wrestler, he rose to popularity and made his own name in the wrestling world for his works and contributions to the World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and World Wrestling Federation / Entertainment (WWF/E). During his time with WCW, he first gained his fame after he became a key member of several stables.

Apart from joining Raven’s Flock which also turned out to be a hit gimmick at the time, he also became one of The Filthy Animals and later joined the cast of The New Blood. As part of these stables, he participated in several feuds with top WCW stars including Jeff Jarrett, Rey Mysterio Jr., and Hulk Hogan. He was also a three-time Cruiserweight Champion with WCW and a two-time World Tag Team Champion for winning matches against Mysterio Jr. and Konnan. When WCW was purchased by WWE, he eventually became one of the WCW/ECW Alliance during which he also acquired another victory after winning the Cruiserweight Championship. On top of his successes, he brought home another victory after winning WWE’s Tag Team championship with Paul London in 2004.

1. He was a banker before he started training to become a professional wrestler.
2. Kidman and fellow professional wrestler Chris Kanyon became good friends after the two met at the Samoan training center situated in Pennsylvania.
3. A book about Kidman’s career, titled Billy Kidman: The Shooting Star was released in early 2014.
4. He appeared on The JBL Show in 2014 where he attempted to promote his Twitter page but was always cut-off due to technical issues and these incidents of Kidman later became a running gag in the show.
5. A year since his debut, he joined Raven’s Flock in 1997 and was given the character as a heroin addict who would scratch his arms and named his shooting star press the Seven Year Itch. However, after Perry Saturn defeated Raven’s Flock in a match, the group disbanded and led Kidman to a different route in his career. He became a fan-favorite and won his first Cruiserweight Championship after defeating Mexican wrestler Juventud Guerrera.
6. He was officially freed from his WWE contract as a professional wrestler on July 6, 2005. Following his exit, he released a statement saying that the reason for his departure was due to an argument with the management over their decision to stop booking wrestlers on first-class flights overseas. In 2010, he was rehired by WWE as a producer and on September 21, 2011, WWE created a story for him and his role as a producer.
7. Shortly after leaving WWE, Kidman competed for the Frontier Wrestling Alliance in a three-way match with Jody Fleisch and Jonny Storm.
8. In 2007, he made his International Wrestling Association (IWA) for the IWA World Heavyweight Championship in a losing match against Ray González. On the same year, he competed against the Australian wrestlers TNT and Mark Hilton for the East Coast Australian International Assault II and later defeated Bryan Danielson to win the WSW Heavyweight Championship.
9. In November 2013, he appeared on WWE’s European tour as Paul Heyman‘s doctor under the name Dr. Weisenburg.
10. On August 23, 2016, he appeared on SmackDown Live with Jamie Noble to stop Dolph Ziggler from attacking AJ Styles.
