Carson Branstine Facts

  1. She won her first doubles title at the very first junior tournament that she competed in, the ITF G4 in Atlanta, in November 2014.
  2. Two weeks later, she triumphed at both the singles and the doubles events at the G4 in Boca Raton.
  3. In October 2016, Carson received an offer from Tennis Canada to train at the National Training Centre in Montréal. She accepted the invitation and it became a key factor in her decision to switch her representation from the United States to Canada in March 2017.
  4. In her very first tournament after deciding to represent Canada, the ITF G1 in Carson, California, she won both the singles and the doubles titles.
  5. She reached her first WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) doubles final in partnership with Bianca Andreescu at the 2017 Coupe Banque Nationale, where the pair eventually lost to the top-seeded pairing of Tímea Babos and Andrea Hlaváčková.
