  1. While studying in high school, he also used to play in the baseball and basketball teams.
  2. He decided to redshirt his first year with the North Dakota State, which effectively extended his college career to 5 years term.
  3. He managed to become a starting quarterback for the North Dakota State in his junior year in the 2014 season.
  4. He broke his wrist in the first half of a college football match in the 2015 season but still went on to complete 16 of his 29 throws and pass 195 yards in the whole match.
  5. By the time he graduated from the North Dakota State University, he had been recognized as Academic All-American of the Year by the College Sports Information Directors of America on two occasions.
  6. In April 2016, he was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles as the second overall pick in the first round of the NFL draft.
