Workout Secrets

The daughter of Prakash Padukone took the help of Yasmin Karachiwala, a renowned celebrity fitness trainer, and a Pilates expert. The duo crafted a Padmavati workout regime that helped the stunner to look like queen Padmavati.

The core focus of this workout was on doing a lot of Pilates. They also created a workout known as 20-20 where she worked on three different machines for 20 minutes each. Each of these exercises focused on different body parts. She trained for 5 times a week and expressed a passion for fitness by enjoying every aspect of workouts like a true-blooded athlete.

Seeking Perfection

Appreciating her client, Yasmin said that the beauty’s zeal towards perfection is more than impressive and she started off training even before the shoot for the movie began which gave them ample time to tone her body.

Knowing Her Body

The fitness guru shared that the workout routine and diet plan worked so well for the ex-lover of Ranbir Kapoor because she knows her body well. She knows every trick of staying in shape, knows about the food patterns that work for her and hence makes the right food choices.

Indulging a Bit

Even if the rumored girlfriend of Ranveer Singh indulges a bit, she goes light the next day and opts for moderation. She never starves herself but instead believes in eating right.

Trusting Her Trainer

Padukone not only precisely followed her workout and diet plan but also appreciated her trainer’s effort. In an interview, she said that she likes working with Yasmin because the fitness expert always recommends low-intensity exercises that force her to use her body weight and core.

These exercises also concentrate on using correct posture and technique which works well for her. Within two weeks of working with the talented trainer, the Bajirao Mastani (2015) actress could see the difference in her body as there was a lot more definition than before.

Training for Ghoomar Song

The Om Shanti Om (2007) actress not only changed her body for the film but she also trained hard for the much popular “Ghoomar” song which is an integral part of the film.

She spent hours training according to the instructions of Jyothi D Tommaar, the Trustee and Assistant Director of Gangaur Ghoomar Dance Academy. Her performance was choreographed by Kruti Mahesh Midya. She also prepared for the film character months before the shoot began.
