  1. It was her urge that the French novelist Philippe Claudel decided to write the script of her popular movie, I’ve Loved You So Long. About 5 months after she advised, he had completed the script and got in touch with Elsa.
  2. In January 2001, she was appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador for United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). She was also made the spokesperson of the Face to Face campaign for France.
  3. Her father and her family managed to evade Nazi persecution as they were hidden by some people, who were sympathetic to the cause of Jewish people.
  4. To overcome her natural shyness, she decided to get enrolled in ballet classes. She also started taking drama classes while studying for French baccalaureat in the arts section.
