  1. He made an appearance in one episode of My Cat from Hell in the past.
  2. He started pursuing music at the age of 6 during which he was taking private guitar lessons.
  3. His early exposure to formal music training got him into learning to play multiple instruments such as drums, piano, and violin.
  4. After spending years of harnessing his skills as a musician, he then eventually signed to Elektra with his band “No Love Lost”.
  5. In 2000, pop artist Hilary Duff hired Hook as the guitarist for her live line-up. At the time, he also served as the session guitarist for her tracks.
  6. In 2007, his debut album Safety Dunce was released. Around the same time, he recorded his 2nd solo American Justice featuring guest appearances from Alice Cooper, Five Finger Death Punch members, and Phil Demmel from Machine Head.
  7. It was announced sometime in 2009 that Hook would be joining Five Finger Death Punch as a replacement to the band’s former guitarist Darrel Roberts. On September 22, they released War Is The Answer which was quick to peak at no. 7 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart.
  8. On July 9, 2013, reports from History Channel’s Counting Cars made rounds and claimed that Hook’s motorcycle broke down on the roadside. The show’s star Danny “The Count” Koker was with him during the incident, adding that it was him who helped get Hook’s motorcycle to run. In one episode of the show, he was seen receiving an Ace Freshley tattoo at Koker’s tattoo shop.
