Heath’s sister, Meredith, was the one who introduced them and during the 2012 London Olympic Games, Heath proposed to Lauren. They tied the knot in front of 90 special guests at the House of Reps Rose Garden at Old Parliament House in Canberra. The couple seems to be cruising on smoothly with their marriage life.

Personal Trainer

Lauren Wells trains with her fellow athletes at the MattyB DEPT either on the track or at the gym working on building her strength, endurance, and speed. While preparing for a championship, she trains 25-28 hours per week (Sunday being a rest day), otherwise, it’s 10-15 hours of training per week.

She also trains with her training partner Melissa Breenis. One of her favorite training exercises is the hip thrust.

As for her diet, she does not follow any specific diet but eats everything in moderation of which majority are the healthy food items that help her to train harder at the optimal levels.
