1. Her paternal grandfather was a Nigerian tribal chief. Her last name translates to ‘leader of men’.
2. In her teens, she went to an arts-oriented summer camp. She was discovered by a Hollywood agent at the camp.
3. She was still in her teens when she got her first acting gig in the TV mini-series, Creature.
4. Megalyn had been originally asked to audition for the role of Jeannie in the House of Lies. However, the producers felt she was better suited for the role of April and asked her to audition again.
