What do a stunning looking model and a young NFL athlete have in common? Well, it’s two things. They both love yoga, and they both seek the help of Claire Grieve, a Los Angeles-based yoga pro in private one-on-one sessions.

She recently shared how she helps celebrities stay in shape, and we couldn’t resist reading it all. You can read it too by simply scrolling down. She also shared some other fitness mantras that are definitely worth your time.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s Fitness Secrets

Talking about how the former Victoria’s Secret model stays in shape, the yoga expert shared that she creates her yoga sessions by her travel, life, and work schedule. When she was pregnant, she did yoga every day, and now, she does it about twice or thrice a week.

Though many of us imagine celebrities pouring sweat in every fitness session they do, it’s not the case. According to Claire, she designs the workouts for her clients by how a client is feeling that day. For instance, if Huntington-Whiteley is feeling energized, the duo works on challenging poses like handstands (which is her favorite). If she is feeling tired from a lack of sleep, work or stress, the focus of the sessions shifts to restorative poses like Pigeon and longer meditations.

Odell Beckham Jr.’s Fitness Secrets

The key player of the New York Giants not only does strenuous workouts (to get agile) on the field but also practices yoga regularly. Grieve shared that she trains him a few times a week and that too usually when he is done with the strenuous workout sessions.

During these sessions, the focus is on the conscious breath, movement and being mindful of how his body feels on a day and how he can change it. The sports star likes to do core moves with an aim to develop internal strength and to shift his focus on recovery. He also does restorative stretches for full body, especially hips and hamstrings.

The Yogini says that football and yoga perfectly complement each other. After a person, Odell, in this case, has been working his joints hard on and off the field, yoga acts as a lotion for joints due to it’s flowing movements.

Practice Makes Perfect

Claire also thinks that practice makes perfect when it comes to yoga. If you are new to yoga, you must know that when she tried vinyasa the first time, she fell over. She kept practicing while bracing her feet against a wall and after some time, she was able to do a handstand without the support from the wall.

Now, she does at least one handstand in a day which helps to get your blood moving which is good for digestion & blood circulation. It also expands your spine. So, the next time you fall over, get up, laugh a little, and then try again.

Happy Mornings

Many of us feel tired or sluggish during the mornings and want to change it. According to the fitness enthusiast, you can do it by hydrating your body as it will make you look glowy and perky instantly.

You can then follow it up with a smoothie that will provide essential nutrients to your body and help you feel and look refreshed. To take it up a notch, you can do a quick morning workout coupled with some stress-relieving breathing exercises. It will make you feel and look great while allowing you to feel more energized to tackle whatever the day has in store for you.
