- As a kid, due to her dad’s occupation in the military, she moved around a lot. Pam lived in states such as Florida, Texas, California, Michigan, and Washington.
- She preferred watching sports instead of children’s shows as a kid. Her dad played a lot of football during college and they enjoyed spending time in front of the TV together.
- Pam 1st discovered her athletic ability during the time she lived in Texas. One time, she joined a track meet in her elementary school and won all 3 of the races with ease.
- Pam admitted that she was always a “news junkie” and would plan her daily schedule so she could be free to watch the news on TV.
- As a teenager, Pam was excellent in track and field, basketball, and tennis.
- Pam began her career with ESPN in 1993, with Fox Sports in 1995, and with TNT in 2005.
- During college, Pam was an All-American in both the 400-meter and 1-mile relay race. As of 2005, the record she set was not broken and she was later entered into her school’s Hall of Fame for her achievements.
