  2. Tom Curran was the only one born in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.
  3. Sam was raised in a family of passionate cricketers. His father Kevin played internationally for Zimbabwe and his grandfather Kevin Patrick Curran played for Rhodesia.
  4. Sam resided on a farm with his family in Rusape, Zimbabwe until it was seized by the government in 2004.
  5. He is a left-handed batsman and left-arm medium-fast bowler.
  6. Sam played for the Surrey County Cricket Club at the “Under-15”, “Under-17”, and “Second XI Championship”.

  19. After becoming the most expensive buy in IPL 2023, he revealed that he wasn’t able to sleep that night as the auction was going on and he was excited and nervous at the same time.
