The Saturdays singer spent two months with a renowned celebrity trainer Leo Savage who works at Third Space. They trained hard together, and sheer determination and a lot of sweat helped her to get where she is now. She went for the exciting journey because she wanted to be in the best shape of her life and also wanted to not feel embarrassed or shy on revealing her body on national television when millions would be watching her.
Leo says that the workout secrets were not something too complex and anyone can do the workouts they did, in his or her bedroom. Highlighting the strength based exercises they did, he said that they focused on deadlifts to get stability and innovation. They also did an intense bodyweight workout that lasted for about 20 minutes.
During these sessions, the focus was also on core work as she wanted to tone it up. For that, they included a Trunk movement in every session. Each session ended with 15-20 minutes of circuit training as it made the entire deal more productive.
Sample Exercise Regime
If you are inspired to try the stunner’s workout regime in your bedroom, then all you need to do is do exercises that make use of major muscle groups and burn fat. You also need to do two core exercises, one full body exercise, one upper body, and one lower body exercise. Do each exercise for 45 seconds, take a break of 15 seconds and repeat it 4 times.
A sample exercise plan shared by the fitness guru is mentioned here:
- First, do Burpees for 45 seconds and take 15 seconds rest.
- Secondly, do v-sits for 45 seconds and take 15 seconds rest.
- Thirdly, do jump lunges for 45 seconds and take 15 seconds rest.
- Fourthly, do side to side rolling plank for 45 seconds and take 15 seconds rest.
- Lastly, do press ups for 45 seconds and take 15 seconds rest.
Repeat this routine at least 4 times to get visible results!
Before entering the show, the Somerset native confessed that she had no plans to shower in a skimpy bikini like Myleene Klass and she kept her word by going for a sexy swimsuit when enjoying a bath beside her co-stars Jennie McAlpine and Shappi Khorsandi.
She had also confessed that she would not wear a white bikini as so many people have done it before. She also had complete faith in her shape just before the show. You should note that she didn’t get that body in just two months because she has been taking care of her fitness for many years now.
For keeping fit, she earlier stuck to running and weight training and we are sure this habit of exercising for years played a part in helping her achieve the best shape of her life in just two months.
One major diet change made by the singer to get in the best shape of her life was that she hadn’t had any alcoholic drink for months. This change has brought positive changes in her life because it made her feel healthy, in and outside of training.
