  1. Yung and his friend Chino Dollar established a record label called Mastermind Music. He is the president of the label.
  2. He learned how to run his own business from his father.
  3. Yung has appeared in Danity Kane’s song Show Stopper.
  4. He once revealed that some of his inspiration came from listening to Atlanta, Georgia native T.I.‘s music.
  5. Joc created a new record label called Swagg Team Entertainment through Jive Records in 2010.
  6. Back in 2007, when Joc was at the height of his popularity, his hectic schedule started to catch up to him and he fell asleep during an interview.
  7. Yung Joc told MTV Cribs that he loves Jamaican food so ginger beer is always found in his fridge.
  8. In December 2011, Joc’s recording studio for his label Swagg Team was robbed of $70,000 worth of studio equipment and a hard drive containing the unreleased music for Joc’s third studio album.
  9. Joc and label Block Entertainment & Bad Boy Entertainment were sued by local Atlanta record label Master Mind Music on January 18, 2012, for copyright infringement.
