  1. After he signed to WWE in 2005, he became an Intercontinental Champion, a United States Champion, and a WWE (Raw) Tag Team Champion.
  2. He made his professional wrestling debut in 2004.
  3. He debuted with New York Wrestling Connection (NYWC) in 2004 using the name Brett Matthews.
  4. In 2011, he started publishing a YouTube web series called Z! True Long Island Story where he proclaimed himself as WWE’s “Internet Champion”.
  5. His use of social media helped him establish a solid social media fan base and a bigger television role with WWE. Also, his YouTube series Z! True Long Island Story earned him the “We Want Ryder” chants which were chanted by the audiences of the Raw brand and the Capitol Punishment pay-per-view without him appearing on the show.
  6. On April 21, 2005, he made his first WWE appearance on SmackDown!
  7. On February 24, 2006, he signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
  8. In September 2009, he won a 10-man battle royal to earn a spot to the ECW Championship but lost to the champion Christian the week after. On November 3 episode of ECW, he entered a love angle with Rosa Mendes who later turned out to be his valet.
  9. When the brand ECW ended in February 2010, he moved to the Raw brand and had officially made his debut on the February 25 episode of Superstars during which he defeated Primo.
  10. He was a mentor to Titus O’Neil during the 2nd season of NXT. They debuted in a losing effort against John Morrison and Eli Cottonwood. At the time, O’Neil turned out to be the first rookie who got eliminated from the 2nd season.
  11. In December 2010, he won the 2010 Slammy Award for “Most Annoying Catchphrase”.
  12. In January 2014, the Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter released a ranking of WWE’s roster where Ryder was ranked as a lower-tier babyface and the 3rd lowest babyface on the roster.
  13. On the July 21 episode of Raw in 2014, he picked up his first singles victory on the brand since December 2012. However, it was only after Layla interfered against his opponent, Fandango.
  14. In July 2011, he was featured in Sports Illustrated‘s list of the “100 Most Influential Twitter Users in Sports”.
  15. On January 16, 2013, he released a music video called Hoeski which was able to accumulate more than 100k views in just 4 days and was also posted on WWE’s official YouTube channel. The song peaked at no. 92 on the iTunes Pop Music chart on February 5, 2013.
  16. As of January 2020, he has appeared in 8 WWE video games and made his in-game debut at WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009. Ryder also appeared in WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011, WWE ’12, WWE ’13, WWE 2K14, WWE 2K16, WWE 2K17, WWE 2K18, WWE 2K19, and WWE 2K20.
