Dejan Lovren is  a Croatian professional footballer who is best known for his career as a centre-back for the Croatia national team and the Russian Premier League club Zenit Saint Petersburg. On May 10, 2006, Lovren debuted for Dinamo Zagreb in a match against NK Varteks Varazdin.
Dejan played his first official match for the French side Lyon on January 24, 2010, against AS Monaco. Eventually, Lyon lost the match by 2-1.
