Briana Evigan is an American actress, dancer, singer, and choreographer who is best known for her scream queen roles in horror and thriller films such as Sorority Row (2009), Mother’s Day (2010), The Devil’s Carnival (2012), and Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival (2016); and in the 2nd season of the horror TV series From Dusk Till Dawn (2015). She had made her acting debut at the age of 10 with the 1996 horror film House of the Damned which had also featured her father. She then came into the spotlight in 2008 with her portrayal of Andrea “Andie” West in the popular dance film Step Up 2: The Streets. Briana has also been featured in the music videos of many globally renowned artists such as Numb by Linkin Park (2003), Low (2008) by Flo Rida, Push (2008) by Enrique Iglesias, and Church (2008) by T-Pain.

- Inspired by her mother, Briana began her dance training from the age of 9 and later attended dance classes taught by reality TV personality and choreographer Shane Sparks.
- During her school days, she was a classmate of the future fashion designers Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, better known as The Olsen Twins.
- She is also an adept singer and has lent vocals for the alternative rock music group Moorish Idol, a band that she had co-founded and played the keyboard for.
