Jessi was also a vehicle builder, fabricator, TV personality, and an all-around automotive legend who had set a women’s land speed class record (four wheels) in 2013. Her fastest land-speed record in a four-wheeled vehicle. She made that record on October 9th, 2013, when she drove the North American Eagle Supersonic Speed Challenger at the Alvord desert. She earned the women’s 4-wheel land speed record with an average run of 398.954 mph (632 km/h) with a top speed of 440.709 mph (709 km/h).

She made her feature film debut in Interviewing Monsters and Bigfoot in 2019. Unfortunately, Jessi lost her life even before the movie was released. Director Thomas Smugala dedicated the movie to her memory.

1. She initially wanted to make her career in snowboarding for which she traveled to North America before settling in Denver, Colorado. However, the demanding physical effort made her switch to metal fabrication and racing.
2. Jessi’s great-grandmother Nina DeBow was a racer too. Jessi was once quoted as saying that her great-grandmother could race anything from Stanley Steemer to Volkswagen Beetles.
3. Her great-grandmother was a spokesmodel for Goodrich tires.
4. She was hired by her own college’s marketing department. She and one another student was appointed to make a car right from scratch in 6 months to debut at the Specialty Equipment Marketing Association’s (SEMA) show.
5. Jessi’s family said that her biggest dream was to become the fastest woman on Earth.
6. Her jet known as the “North American Eagle Supersonic Speed Challenger” was a 56ft-long, 52,000-horsepower car.
