1. He played youth football with Villarreal CF.
2. On August 21, 2016, Pau Torres made his league debut with the reserves starting in a 1–0 Segunda División B away loss against Cornellà.
3. On October 8, 2016, he went on to score his first senior goal in a 2–2 home draw with Badalona.

Pau Torres made his debut competitive appearance for the first team on December 20, 2016, as he came on as a late substitute for Víctor Ruiz in the 1–1 home draw against Toledo in the round of 32 of Copa del Rey. With this, he became the first player born in Villarreal to debut for the club in 13 years.
