  1. He began taking an interest in cricket at a young age. It was his father and older brothers who helped him train.
  2. Saim was raised in the prominent neighborhood of Gulistan-e-Johar.
  3. He made his Twenty20 debut for the Quetta Gladiators in the 2021 Pakistan Super League in February 2021.
  4. Saim played his first List A game for Sindh in the 2021–22 Pakistan Cup in March 2022. Later, in September, he made his first-class debut in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2022/23.
  5. He was announced to be part of Pakistan’s Twenty20 International (T20I) lineup in March 2023, for the series against Afghanistan.
