Dance to her is the best form of cardio workout. Four times weight training in a week amalgamated with regular yoga is what keeps her brisk throughout the day. She believes that in today’s world of chaos, Yoga is the only remedy which can relax both your body and mind. She herself experienced a radiant glow on her face ever, after starting yoga.
To keep her mind calm and peaceful, Anushka practices meditation both in the morning and before going to bed. It removes all her stress and always keeps her in a cheerful mood.
Anushka insists on having regular workouts. At times, when she has very tight schedule due to shooting, and is not able to give time to work out in the morning, she certainly does that in the evening. Even, while having shootings at faraway places, she doesn’t miss to go out for jogging or a walk.
Entire workout not accompanied with proper rest, no doubt is good for nothing, as adequate rest is the first key to rejuvenate your entire body system. So, she does take a proper sleep.

Anushka is of course conscious about her diet, and gives 60% importance to diet for maintaining her body in shape. She refrains from junk foods, because she feels that your skin is like a mirror which reflects what you eat. Your face will naturally glow if you will eat healthy food, and contrary to that, junk or unhealthy food will make it look dull.
Starting her day with breakfast, which includes one glass of fruit juice and two egg whites, Anushka doesn’t forget to have small meals six times in a day, which include lime water, coconut water, protein bar, fruits, cheese toast and other healthy snacks.
She prefers carrying her homemade lunch with her to shooting, which generally includes dal, chapattis and vegetable salad. For dinner also, she follows the same healthy meal. Homemade food is always her primary and supreme priority. Her daily routine includes 3-4 liters of water, it removes all the toxins from her body.
What Anushka has to say to her fans?
Her genuine suggestion to all the young folks is, don’t follow any celebrity or anyone else blindly. Be yourself, only that is going to last forever. Just fall in love with yourself and let everything else go to hell.
No-one can compensate your body’s requirements of regular workouts, as workouts are the only way to strengthen your muscles. Workouts prepare your body to fight against diseases, by making your immune system strong. So, get into the habit of regular workouts, not because you want to look slim like someone, but to stay healthy forever.
Being naturally slim, she never required workouts to shed fats from her body. But she didn’t have strength and used to feel exhausted all the time. It was during that time, when her friends suggested her to practice yoga. And yoga actually dazzled her with its wonderful effects on her body and mind.
Speaking tersely against dieting, she suggests her fans to have small healthy meals at least five times in day, as that would increase the metabolism of your body.

Counting on light make-up for self embellishment, Anushka strongly advocates not going out in sun without applying sunscreen lotion.
Washing her face with creamy cleanser, and moisturizing it with cocoa butter lotion, before going to sleep is her routine preparation before going to bed. She believes, cosmetics contain harmful chemicals and your skin should not be left in contact with those harmful chemicals at night.
Anushka reveals the secret of her beautiful hair, telling that she massages her hair with coconut oil before washing them.
