  2. In 1976, he joined The Bee’s Knees with whom he recorded the single “Cold Hearted Woman”.
  3. Anson alongside Mark Hickman on Fender bass, David Watson on drums, and vocalist Darrell Nulisch formed the band Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets in 1977 but made their debut in 1978.
  4. He released his debut studio album titled Talk to You By Hand in 1980 with Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets.
  5. Their style of music is considered to be Chicago blues and Texas blues.
  6. Over the years, Anson has released several albums with the Rockets such as Tell Me What I Want to Hear (1991), Thru the Years: A Retrospective (1991), Live At the Grand Emporium (1995), That’s What They Want (1997), Change In My Pocket (1999), Which Way Is Texas? (2003), Mill Block Blues (2011), and Deal With It (2013).
