  1. Ice Cube was the only member of the NWA band, who wasn’t born in Compton. Also, he was the youngest member of the band, being just 17 years old when the band was founded.
  2. In the early ’90s, he got converted to Islam. However, he rarely went to the mosque as he believed all was between him and his God and he could reach him from the confines of his home.
  3. He got his moniker, Ice Cube from his older brother, who felt he was too cool for his age as Cube used to regularly hit on his brother’s girlfriends whenever they called at their house phone.
  4. He has his own clothing line, which goes by the name of Solo by Cube. The hooded sweatshirts that have built-in speakers in hood strings are particularly famous.
  5. After his dispute with Priority Records, he started his own record label, Lench Mob Records out of animosity against his former record label.
  6. He has also founded his own production company, Cube Vision, which has produced many of his hit movies including Barbershop and Beauty Shop.
