  1. She won her first junior singles title at the age of 14, at the G4 tournament in Vancouver, in July 2013.
  2. At Wimbledon, in July 2014, she made it to her 1st junior Grand Slam main draw and reached the quarterfinal stage in the doubles event.
  3. In February 2017, she qualified for an ITF 100K event in Midland, Michigan and the tournament proved to be a real breakthrough in her career. She defeated then-World No. 121 Verónica Cepede Royg in the 1st round and then upset the then-World No. 97 Varvara Lepchenko in the quarterfinals. This was her 1st win over a player ranked in the ‘Top 100’ of the WTA rankings.
  4. The same year, she was picked to represent Canada at the Fed Cup Americas Zone Group I. She ended her matches with a 4–0 win-loss record and her performances helped Canada progress to the Fed Cup World Group II playoffs.
  5. Katherine was involved in a controversy in November 2019 when she aggressively shook hands with American tennis player Alycia Parks after their 2nd round match at an ITF tournament in Nevada. The incident caused a heated argument between the 2 players which turned into a physical altercation that caught the attention of several national and international media outlets.
