Kenny Pickett studied at Ocean Township High School (OTHS), a 4-year comprehensive public high school located in the Oakhurst section of Ocean Township in Monmouth County. As a junior, he led the Ocean Township Spartans to the New Jersey Central Group III semifinal game, leading his team to a 9–2 record.
