  1. She gained public attention after winning the 2005 Perrier Comedy Award (now known as Edinburgh Comedy Award) for her one-woman show, Kopfraper’s Syndrome: One Man and His Incredible Mind. Laura was the 2nd female solo performer to receive the prestigious award after Jenny Eclair’s win in 1995.
