Lucy Bronze is an English professional soccer player who has represented, as a defender, top-flight English clubs such as Sunderland A.F.C. Ladies (2007-2010), Everton F.C. (2010-2012), Liverpool F.C. Women (2012-2014), and Manchester City W.F.C. (2014-2017, 2020-Present). With Sunderland A.F.C. Ladies, she had won the FA Women’s Premier League Northern Division title in the 2008-09 season. Representing Liverpool F.C. Women, she had clinched the FA WSL (Women’s Super League) in both 2013 and 2014. With Manchester City W.F.C., she had won the FA Women’s Cup (2016–17, 2019–20), the FA WSL (2016), and the FA WSL Cup (2016). Between 2017 and 2020, she had served the French champions Olympique Lyonnais Féminin and won the Division 1 Féminine title (2017–18, 2018–19, 2019–20), the UEFA Women’s Champions League (2017–18, 2018–19, 2019–20), the Coupe de France Féminine (2019, 2020), and the Trophée des Championnes (2019). At the international level, she had represented England at the Under-17, Under-19, Under-20, and Under-23 tiers before making her senior national debut in 2013.
