Michael Johnston is an American actor, voice actor, and singer who came into prominence after playing the role of Corey Bryant in season 5 of the MTV supernatural teen drama television series Teen Wolf (2015-2017). He gained further popularity by starring in several other programs on the small screen including the superhero show Supergirl (2018) where he portrayed the part of Adam / Subject 0331, and after being featured in numerous films such as the comedy Slash (2016), the movie having got accepted into the 2016 SXSW film festival. Michael has performed as a voice actor for various animation and video games like the computer-animated children’s TV series Zak Storm, where he began to voice the title character in 2016, and the action role-playing brawler video game Marvel’s Avengers in which he provided the voice for the character Dante in 2020. - He was brought up in Rutherfordton in North Carolina where, when he turned 12 years, he had started to audition for voice-overs in commercials as well as animation in a recording studio that he had built in his bedroom.
- Michael has stated that he has taken interest in music and singing only after growing up. He had been road-tripping with his father when they were listening to music and he had remarked how Michael never sang, which had made Michael sing for him for the first time in the car. His father’s encouragement had made Michael discover how much he loved singing, and doing so soon became his favorite pastime, him having gone on to learn a new song almost every weekend and cherish making little videos.
