Mohammed Muntari is a Qatari professional soccer player who has represented, as a striker, El Jaish SC (2013-2015), Lekhwiya SC (2015-2017), and Al-Duhail SC (2017-Present) in Qatar. Between 2017 and 2018, he also spent a loan spell with Al Ahli SC, a multi-sport club based in Doha, Qatar. With Al-Duhail SC, he won the Qatar Stars League (the top tier of the Qatari soccer league system) in the 2016-17 and 2019-20 seasons; and the Emir of Qatar Cup (the premier domestic knockout soccer competition in Qatar) in 2016, 2019, and 2022. With the club, he also won the Sheikh Jassem Cup in both 2015 and 2016. The trophy (founded in 1977 with all 18 Qatari professional soccer clubs competing in a 4-group single round-robin league structure followed by knockout matches), since 2014, has been annually decided by a one-off match that is played between the winners of the Qatar Stars League and the Emir of Qatar Cup. With El Jaish SC, he won the Qatari Stars Cup (first started in 2009 and open only to clubs playing in the Qatar Stars League; the competition is aimed at giving those teams more playing time during the regular season and follows a 2-group single round-robin league structure followed by 3-7 knockout matches) in the 2012-13 season and the Qatar Cup (a 3-match knockout competition contested by the top 4 teams of the Qatar Stars League after each season) in 2014.

- Born and raised in Ghana, Mohammed Muntari moved to Qatar in his late teens and eventually became a naturalized citizen of that country.
- He made his senior national debut for Qatar in December 2014 and scored his first senior-level goal for the country in the same match, the opening goal in a 3-0 win in a friendly match against Estonia.
