Ruben Loftus-Cheek is an English professional soccer player who was considered as the most talented player in Chelsea’s academy even before he was handed his debut by Jose Mourinho. In fact, Mourinho had claimed that if Ruben didn’t become a regular at the club while he was club manager, it would be a huge failure for him. However, Mourinho didn’t last long and was eventually replaced by Antonio Conte, who tried to unsuccessfully convert Loftus-Cheek into a 2nd striker. He eventually decided to move to Crystal Palace to kickstart his derailed progress. He was a revelation at Palace and upon return to his parent club, he has been given some chances by manager Maurizio Sarri.
