Sauce Gardner is an American professional football player who has represented the New York Jets (2022-Present) in the NFL (National Football League), as a cornerback. He had been picked 4th overall in the 1st round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. In his rookie NFL season, he was selected for the Pro Bowl, the NFL‘s annual ‘All-Star Game’. He was one of only 2 rookies selected for the Pro Bowl that year – the other being Tariq Woolen of the Seattle Seahawks.

- After his true freshman season (2019) at The University of Cincinnati, Sauce Gardner was named to the ‘First-Team All-AAC (American Athletic Conference)’. He was the only true freshman to receive this honor. He was named to the ‘First-Team All-AAC‘ in both 2020 and 2021 as well. AAC is an American collegiate athletic conference that features 11 member universities and 5 affiliate member universities that compete in the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association)’s Division I.
- In his junior season (2021), he was named a ‘Consensus All-American’ and helped The University of Cincinnati become the first ‘Group of 5’ team to reach the College Football Playoff (an annual postseason knockout invitational tournament that determines a national champion for the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (the highest level of college football in the United States)).
