In 1972, he made his first TV show appearance in the wrestling show, WWF All-Star Wrestling.

Personal Trainer

Vince got into weightlifting at the age of 14 and has remained very committed to his strength training regime even in his advancing years. Over the years, he has trained with various wrestling superstars and in his interview with Muscle and Fitness, he even revealed that he managed to overcome Mark Henry (who was billed as the world’s strongest man). Henry confirmed the fact in a separate interview.

He usually works in the gym 4 days a week. However, it can change if he has a busy schedule. He trains each body part only once a week. However, he works on his abs twice a week and trains his calves every third day. For individual body parts, he alternates between heavy and not-so-heavy days in the gym. Each of his workout sessions usually has more than a dozen exercises. You can find his overall workout plan here.

When it comes to diet, he is conscious that it is the fuel that will keep his body going. So, he tries to eat protein-heavy meals. But he also believes that his success lies in how he handles his cheat meals. Vince makes sure that he indulges in his cravings in his single cheat meal instead of having it in small quantities almost every day. When he is having carbs, he makes sure that he eats as much as he can handle. He almost force-feeds himself.
