Wallace Shawn is an American actor, playwright, essayist, and screenwriter who is best known for his work in films such as Manhattan (1979), My Dinner with Andre (1981), The Bostonians (1984), The Princess Bride (1987), Vanya on 42nd Street (1994), The Designated Mourner (1997), The Incredibles (2004), A Master Builder (2013), Maggie’s Plan (2015), and Rifkin’s Festival (2020).
