Boyfriend / Spouse
Summer H. Howell appears to be single as of 2025, and no relationship has ever been publicly confirmed. She was a child when she filmed her first two features and a teenager for most of the Chucky series run, and she’s kept an unusually low profile for an actor attached to a long-running genre property. She doesn’t give relationship interviews, doesn’t walk red carpets with a partner, and has never been linked to a co-star in any credible outlet. Horror fandom being what it is, rumors circulate — none of them have ever held up.

Summer H. Howell’s Facts
- She’s one of only a handful of performers to appear in both the Chucky film series and the television continuation — and she played two entirely different characters in them.
- Alice Pierce was written out of the franchise off-screen, but Howell returned briefly in Cult of Chucky (2017) for a hallucination sequence, giving her a four-year gap between credited appearances.
- She’s worked opposite Brad Dourif’s voice, Jennifer Tilly, Fiona Dourif and Alyvia Alyn Lind, who played her on-screen older sister Lexy Cross.
- Season 2 of Chucky ended with her character becoming the killer doll’s new host, which handed a teenage Howell some of the darkest material in the series for Season 3.
- Don Mancini, who created Chucky in 1988, has personally directed her in multiple projects — the rare case of a child actor and a franchise creator working together across a full decade.
- Her entire credited filmography sits inside one horror universe, something almost unheard of for a working actor her age.
- She maintains a minimal public social media presence, which is part of why basic details like her exact birth date and hometown remain unverified.
