1. When he was just 5 years old, he told his father that he was going to become a professional soccer player no matter what happens.
2. He grew up in a tiny town of Kaltan, Russia.
3. As his hometown of Kaltan only had 1 regular-sized pitch, which was poorly maintained, he played a lot of soccer while growing up on futsal pitches, which has helped him develop his dribbling and quick passing skills.
4. In 2012, he was called into the Siberia XI for a tournament held in Crimea. He had also established himself as an important player at Leninsk-Kuznetsky.
5. Aleksandr was spotted by the CSKA scouts at the tournament in Crimea and he was immediately signed up by the Russian club’s youth setup.
6. He was a member of the Russia national under-17 football team that went on to win the 2013 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. Later, he finished as a runner-up at the 2015 UEFA European Under-19 Championship with the under-19 team.
