Alysa Liu is an American figure skater who had won the ‘Gold’ medal at both the 2019 ISU (International Skating Union) Junior Grand Prix in the United States and the 2019 ISU Junior Grand Prix in Poland. She had also won a ‘Silver’ medal at the 2019 ISU Junior Grand Prix Final and a ‘Bronze’ medal at the 2020 World Junior Figure Skating Championships. In the ‘International: Advanced Novice’ tier, she had won the ‘Gold’ medal at the 2019 Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy. She had also won the ‘Silver’ medal at the 2018 Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy and the 2018 International Challenge Cup. She has won the ‘Gold’ medal at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships for 3 years in a row – in the ‘junior’ category in 2018 and the senior category in both 2019 and 2020.

- As of January 2021, she had held the record for being the youngest-ever U.S. ladies’ national champion.
- In 2019, she had become the first lady to win the junior and senior titles in consecutive years at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships.
- She holds the record for being the first junior American female singles skater to have completed a triple Axel in an international competition and just the 3rd American female overall to do so.
- As of January 2021, she was the only American female skater to have complete a quad jump (quadruple Lutz) in a competition. She also holds the record of being the first female skater to ever land both a quadruple jump and a triple axel in the same program.
