- She made her debut professional wrestling career against Alexis Laree.
- At the age of 11, Beth won a prize of tickets to a television taping for the World Wrestling Federation after winning a coloring contest. This was where she developed an interest in the sport and made it her life goal.
- During high school, she played tennis and ran track and during her senior year, she was voted prom queen. Beth was also included on the Notre Dame High School scholastic wrestling team and became the first female varsity wrestler in the history of the school.
- One of her earliest championship wins was at the 1999 North-East freestyle women’s championship. The same year, Beth also won the New York State Fair Tournament.
- She had worked as a waitress at a local restaurant known to the natives of Elmira as Lights Bakery and Coffee Shop.
