Derek Jeter is an American former professional baseball shortstop, baseball executive, and businessman who is best known for his 20-year Major League Baseball (MLB) career with the New York Yankees. He was also the part-owner and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Miami Marlins from September 2017 to February 2022.
