In January 1966, he released his debut album titled Lightfoot! and it included songs like The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, Ribbon of Darkness, Changes, Rich Man’s Spiritual, The Way I Feel, Sixteen Miles (To Seven Lakes), Long River, For Lovin’ Me, Pride of Man, I’m Not Sayin’, Peaceful Waters, and others.
  2. Gordon Lightfoot was a lifelong fan of the professional ice hockey team Toronto Maple Leafs.
