Guneet Monga is an Indian film producer who is best known as the co-founder and CEO of Sikhya Entertainment, a boutique film production and distribution company that has produced/co-produced numerous Hindi-language feature films including Dasvidaniya (2008), That Girl in Yellow Boots (2011), The Lunchbox (2013), and Masaan (2015). Besides that, Guneet has co-produced Hindi-language feature films like Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 2 (2012), Monsoon Shootout (2013), and Haraamkhor (2015). In February 2019, Period. End of Sentence., a 2018 documentary short film co-produced by her, won an Academy Award in the ‘Best Documentary – Short Subject’ category. In March 2023, The Elephant Whisperers, a 2022 Tamil-language short documentary film co-produced by Guneet, won an Academy Award in the ‘Best Documentary – Short Subject’ category.

- Guneet’s early interest in films was heavily influenced by Anureeta Saigal – her mother’s friend who used to work on the production of several international films.
- In 2003, she worked as an intern with a production coordinator in Delhi. Guneet then started her career as a production coordinator for international projects in 2004, soon after earning her degree in mass communications.
- Convinced that she had chosen the right career path, she persuaded a neighbor to lend her INR 75 lakhs after which she moved to Mumbai in 2006. By 2008, she was able to establish her own production company called Sikhya Entertainment.
- In 2012, Guneet was included in the list of ’12 International Players to Watch’ in a special feature titled ‘Women in Entertainment’ that was published by The Hollywood Reporter, an American digital and print magazine.
- In 2018, she was inducted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, a professional honorary international organization whose membership is open to qualified filmmakers from around the world.
