Harrison Barnes is an American professional basketball player who is best known for his career with teams like Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings, and Dallas Mavericks. He used to play college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels. During the course of his career, Harrison has won several tournaments and has been the recipient of honors like “Morgan Wootten Player of the Year Award”, “ACC Rookie of the Year”, and “Mr. Basketball USA”.

Upon his graduation, Barnes was wanted by several colleges such as Duke, Iowa State, North Carolina, Oklahoma, UCLA, and Kansas. After several visits in each college, Harrison decided to accept the scholarship offered by North Carolina of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Barnes competed under coach Roy Williams for two seasons during his freshman and sophomore years. Eventually, after his second year at college was over, Harrison decided not to attend his junior and senior years at the university and entered the 2012 NBA Draft.
