His transfer value increased nearly 9 times when he broke the all-time record in the Premier League for most consecutive matches in which he scored a goal (11). This record was previously held by Ruud van Nistelrooy who scored in 10 consecutive matches during the 2003-2004 season with Manchester United.

* Nutrition

Leicester’s trainers have shown their perfect approach that points towards the importance of following a quality nutrition plan.

However, Jamie hasn’t been one of those who need to rely a lot on their diet, since he is on an unconventional one. He has been balancing between eating healthy and junk food for quite a while and it seems it’s worth it. He blames his diet approach for his great accomplishments so far.

Vardy is quiet different than the other guys we have around. For him, the recovery bath is more important than eating a well-balanced meal full of proteins, carbohydrates and minerals.…We managed to change his approach by explaining the importance of eating well-balanced meals consisting of carbohydrates, minerals, and proteins at least before and after each training session.” – stated one of Leicester’s personal trainers.
