2. He was 5 years of age when he was s*xually assaulted by an older boy.
3. Joe Exotic later moved to Texas with his family and joined the Eastvale, Texas police department.
4. One of his siblings outed him as gay to their parents and that made Joe attempt suicide.
5. In 2015, he released a diss track titled Here Kitty Kitty whose video showed a Carole Baskin look-alike feeding her 2nd husband, Don Lewis, to the tigers.
6. He has had an ongoing feud with Carole Baskin, the owner of Big Cat Rescue. He was arrested on September 7, 2018, after he was accused of trying to hire an undercover FBI agent who was posing as a hitman in order to murder his rival Carole Baskin.
7. On April 2, 2019, Joe Exotic was convicted on 2 counts of murder for hire, 8 violations of the Lacey Act, and 9 violations of the Endangered Species Act and was later sentenced to 22 years in federal prison on January 22, 2020. In January 2022, he was resentenced to 21 years in prison.
