- Mark was interested in engineering from a very young age. While still in high school, he created a pair of goggles that could help avoid eye irritation while cutting onions.
- Between 2004 and 2013, he served NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration – an independent agency of the U.S. federal government responsible for the country’s civil space program, aeronautics research, and space research) as an engineer.
