- Karan made his debut TV show appearance in Kasamh Se in 2006. From there, he went on to star in various other shows including Ghar ki Lakshmi Betiyann (2006) and Kahe Naa Kahe (2007).
- He was cast in his first theatrical film appearance as Ranveer Oberoi in Kya Love Story Hai in April 2007.
