  1. He was raised in Bangalore alongside his brother Raj.
  2. Mayank started playing cricket at the age of 10.
  3. His career-high came at the “2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup” where he became India’s top scorer with 167 runs.
  4. At the Karnataka Premier League in 2010, Mayank was concluded as the “Man of the Series”.
  5. Since 2014, he has been the only Indian cricketer to have scored 1000 runs in List A cricket.
  6. In November 2017, during the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy, he scored an impressive 304 runs not out while playing for Karnataka against Mumbai.
  7. On December 26, 2018, Mayank made his international debut with the national cricket team.
  8. At the 2018 IPL Auction, Mayank was taken on by the Kings XI Punjab.
  9. The “Board of Control for Cricket in India” awarded him with the “Madhavrao Scindia Award For The Highest Run-Scorer In Ranji Trophy” in June 2018.
