- She suffered a hemorrhage and underwent emergency medical surgery just a few weeks prior to competing in and winning the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 pageant.
- Michelle represented her country at the Miss World 2019 pageant that was held in London, England. She reached as far as ‘Top 12’ in the competition.
- While growing up, she split her time between the Philippines and the United States as her family owned a ranch in the American state of Utah.
